MCT Procal

Description
A neutral-tasting powder containing protein, carbohydrate and fat high in medium chain triglycerides.

Indications
For use in the dietary management of malnutrition, fat malabsorption, disorders of long chain fatty acid oxidation, Type 1 Hyperlipidemia and Chylothorax.

Presentation
Available in 30 x 16 g sachets

Dosage and Administration
• Dosage is to be determined by the clinician or dietitian and is dependant on the age, bodyweight and medical condition of the patient.
Preparation Guidelines
MCT Procal can be added to hot or cold food and beverages. Add one sachet per serving. Stir well with a fork until the powder has dissolved.

Important Notice
• Must be used under strict medical supervision
• Not for use as a sole source of nutrition
• Not suitable for people with lactose or protein intolerance
• Not for intravenous use
• Not suitable for people who cannot metabolize MCT

Storage
• Store in a cool, dry place away from strong odors and direct sunlight
